ADVENTURE WITH PURPOSE
Small group hikes, local impact, cultural discovery.
Walk. Connect. Give back.
'Strength With Purpose. Travel With Responsibility. Growth That Reaches Beyond You.'
About
"Adventure is more than reaching summits. It’s about creating journeys that transform lives, empower communities and honor the landscapes we walk through. Adventure should change you. It's not about bucket lists but growth.
Mountains are not trophies, they are teachers. Challenge is not something to avoid, it builds resilience, clarity and inner strength. There comes a point in life—after years of raising a family, building careers, carrying responsibility—when timing shifts. Not away from duty but alongside it. A chance to step into something bigger than our immediate world, to give energy to the bigger perspective of our humanity. Tierra Trekking was created with that intention.
We trek in India, Nepal and Bhutan. Small groups. Fully supported. Every itinerary includes a direct contribution to iPartner India's Rakshan project."
I look forward to welcoming you on our journey."

Discover a journey that unites outer adventure with inner reflection. Beginning in the misty hills of Darjeeling, explore the charm of its tea gardens and Himalayan heritage before setting out on a five-day trek along the Singalila Ridge, where the world’s highest peaks—Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga—grace the skyline. Walking through forests, villages and mountain trails, you’ll be accompanied by a facilitator from the K Study Centre, guiding daily Dialogues in the light of the teachings of J. Krishnamurti. The journey culminates in Varanasi, one of India’s most sacred cities, with time for reflection and study at the Centre at Rajghat, overlooking the great River Ganges. A rare opportunity to experience the majesty of the Himalayas and the depth of Krishnamurti’s teachings—a journey of landscape, learning, and transformation.

10 days trekking up to maximum altitude 6070m.
Price: £1,990 per person sharing hotel twin room and 2-person tent. Single supplement: £390 per person.

What does full-service camping really mean? We will take care of all the details so you can focus on the adventure!
Arrive. Relax. We'll do the rest. Our team sets up and takes down your tent each day, so camp is always ready upon arrival. Two-person tents or you can opt to have your own tent (with a supplementary charge).
Your main kit bag will be transported by ponies, leaving you to just carry your day pack! More energy for the journey, less weight on your shoulders.
Camps are by flowing streams—every site is chosen with fresh water nearby—perfect for refilling, refreshing, and maybe even washing after a long day's trek.
Delicious meals—three freshly cooked meals a day, served in a dining tent with tables and chairs. Our cook and his team always comply with a high standard of food preparation and hygiene. If you have any particular dietary requirements, we can serve you alternatives to the rest of the group. Breakfast typically includes cereal, toast and jam (even Nutella and peanut butter too!), eggs and porridge. Lunch and dinner typically include soup to start with, followed by a variety of hot dishes (both local and Western) such as potatoes, vegetables, curry, past, rice, dahl and paneer. After dinner, dessert is always served such as tinned fruit and cake.
Local stream water will be pre-boiled and cooled for you each evening and morning, ready before you set off on the trail again!
Morning comforts - our Wake Up Service! With a choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, our Guide and kitchen assistant will serve you your hot drink in your tent each morning. Plus a bowl of warm water to freshen up before the start of the day!
Daily snacks will be given to you each morning before leaving the camp to fuel you on the next leg of your trek.
Tea on arrival! When you reach your next camp base, hot drinks and snacks will be served to keep you going until the evening dinner.
Toilet tents are provided—no flushing toilet but a hole in the ground in 'a toilet tent'—private enough, away from the main camping area.
This is the what "full service camping" looks like with Tierra Trekking! Our team will provide you with comfort, care and an abundance of great food!
